Your task is to find the stolen loot from the Great Bath Bank Heist.
The Great Bath Bank Heist was Canada's biggest bank robbery.
On August 20th, 1945, Armed Robbers stole $10,000 in Cash and $340,000 in Bearer Bonds from the Royal Bank of Canada. Estimated to be equivalent to FIVE MILLION DOLLARS today! The robbery made headlines across Canada.
Was the loot hidden in St. Alban's Church in Adolphustown, just 20 miles west of Bath?
Clues say it was!
Evading Police Roadblocks, the Robbers fled from Bath, west along the Loyalist Highway, to Adolphustown. Making a stop at St. Alban's Church they dashed in through the open doors, and after a few minutes fled west again, escaping onto the Glenora Ferry and across the Bay, never to return.
Now the Memorial Church is undergoing repairs to preserve it. What will the workers find?
Or will YOU find the loot first?

"I am being a tourist in my own backyard! A couple of weeks ago we 'found the stash of cash' from the Great Bath Bank Robbery at St. Alban's Escape Room in Adolphustown. Had a hoot! Beautiful setting, cool even on a blistering hot July day. Clues were challenging (for us) but help was close at hand! 2 thumbs up!" J.J.

An Escape Room is a game in which players are confined to a room or defined setting, and must work together to find clues and solve puzzles, ultimately solving the objective and escaping. Success in finding the objective and escaping is dependent on teamwork, cooperation, and creative thinking!
No! The entrance door is always unlocked and you can exit the game at any time in case of emergency, to use the washroom, or if you just need a break.

The games have been designed to challenge adults but can certainly be enjoyed by younger children and their families. There is nothing gory, graphic, or scary about our rooms that make them inappropriate for younger players. All ages are welcome in the escape rooms. Anyone age 7+ is considered a “player” and must pay full price. Anyone 6 and under is considered a “non-player” and can tag along for free. Non-playing children MUST stay with, and in the care of their guardians throughout the game. Players 10 and under must have an adult in the room with them to play. Players 11-14 must have an adult chaperone on site with them. The adult does not need to play, but they must remain on site for the duration of the game. Players 15+ may play without an adult chaperone on site.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled game start time. Leave time to find the location, and be sure to sign your digital waivers ideally before you arrive. Each booking gets 60-75 minutes in the room. If you are late, we may not be able to extend your time in the room.
Due to the historic nature of St. Alban's Centre property, our escape adventure is not barrier-free. We have taken measures to make our church building and site more accessible with regards to mobility, however we are not yet able to make everything fully accessible. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact Natachia or Sharon at info@stalbanscentre.ca, and we'll be happy to discuss individual accessibility needs and accommodate you in any way possible.
