United Empire Loyalist Memorial Service & Tea

United Empire Loyalists' Landing Memorial Celebration

On Saturday June 14th, and Sunday June 15th 2025, 

the UEL Park and Campground hosted the

241st Anniversary of the United Empire Loyalists' Landing. Celebrations included 

Re-enactments of a Loyalist Encampment, Maritime Activities and  

1784 United Empire Loyalists' Landing Re-enactment & Flag Raising.

St. Alban's Centre's Events  

followed with the first Public Screening of the Mary Ruttan Story. 

In 1784, after a harrowing journey, 14 year old Mary Ruttan and her family found refuge in Adolphustown. 

This screening was followed by the UEL Memorial Church Service, 

and a Traditional Tea Service served in china cups.

Details on the 2026 UEL Commemorative Events will be posted as soon as they become available.
