A Rich Past ~ A Promising Future

United Empire Loyalists UEL Memorial Commemorative Service &

United Empire Loyalists' Landing Memorial Celebration

On Saturday, June 14th, and Sunday, June 15th, 2025, the UEL Park and Campground in Adolphustown, Ontario, hosted the 241st Anniversary of the United Empire Loyalists' Landing. Celebrations included re-enactments of a Loyalist Encampment, Maritime Activities, and the 1784 United Empire Loyalists' Landing Re-enactment & Flag Raising. Events at St. Alban's Centre followed, featuring the first public screening of the Mary Ruttan Story. In 1784, after a harrowing journey, 14-year-old Mary Ruttan and her family found refuge in Adolphustown. This screening was followed by the UEL Memorial Church Service and a Traditional Tea Service served in china cups. Details on the 2026 UEL Commemorative Events will be posted as soon as they become available
